I got this about a week ago and I've been working out daily. I've been trying to do all the dvds but I found a favorite and I'm having a hard time tearing myself away from that one now. The box includes a tape measure, workout band, pencil (LOL) and diet plan. I loved the booklet "fat burning foods." All of the food looks delicious and the recipes seem simple.

So yes, it is more complicated and less visually friendly (although some member of the band Chicago wrote the music for the new series, a fact they are VERY proud to remind you of), but the workouts are 5-star through and through. Just a reminder, these are supplements to the original series and don't replace all the previous workouts. To buy just these would not be to have a complete set of workouts.

Okay, I'm 54 and have run regularly, lifted weights but couldn't get the reduction in inches and bodyfat that I wanted. I did P90X in the summer and a month of P90X+. Great programs that got me into the consistent routine of early morning (5 AM) workouts and built overall strength, coordination, and flexibility. With a 2 pound weight loss, but, I admit I was not very careful with the nutrition plan.

There's so many positive things to say about this product it's hard to know where to begin. I'll try to avoid covering too much familiar ground of the other reviews. So let's start by saying this: It absolutely works. What's great about this program is that it addresses ALL your fitness needs. Whereas most workout videos/programs tend to focus on either strength training or cardio or flexibility or target specific areas, P90X does it all.
